Business case: Students and companies unite to solve business problems

On December 16, 2023, the first large-scale event was held at the AIU – a Business case, where students solve current business problems from various companies and government organizations. The organizers were members of the Manclub club. About 13 universities took an active part, and 12 sponsor companies were invited, such as Lalafo, Asia (Frunze), Bloomsbury, IWEX, Be Free, BSC, Geeks, Kadam Global, Fun Travels, etc. There were also individual sponsors – Munarbek Atchabarov and Aziz Atavaliev.
The project consisted of three stages. The first stage was held in an online format. At the second stage, the participants performed in a team of 5 people, each of them was allocated separate cases from companies. At the third stage, the final, the teams made ready-made presentations to the jury members. The jury members were AIU lecturer - Talant Asan uulu, CEO of Peklo Studio - Roman Leonov, Director of Marketing Department of Lalafo - Ruslan Gaidarov, Director of Marketing Department of Asia - Mirbek Kulchunov, and CEO of Sakharok company - Andrey Korobeynikov. The main focus was on practical experience aimed at providing students with information about the internal activities of companies, identifying typical problems and striving to find innovative approaches to solving existing problems.
Among the participating universities were KRSU named after B. N. Yeltsin, AIU, AUCA, IUK, KSTU, KNU named after Zh. Balasagyn, KSMA named after I. Akhunbaev, KSU named after I. Arabaev, BSU, INAI. 3 teams won prizes:
- 1st place – “Content” team
- 2nd place – “Revolution” team
- 3rd place – “Nova” team
The winners were awarded cash prizes, certificates, as well as certificates for internships and services to active participants of the company. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all the participants and organizers of this event!
