On April 15, 2023, the Ala-Too International University hosted Quizday: “Climate action & Green economy” for grades 10 and 11, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

The event was actively attended by high school students of the Lyceum Ch . Aitmatov, Bilimkan, Secondary school No. 1 and others. Sponsors like “Kadam Global”, “Eduget pro”, and “Bloomsbury” were also invited.

After the presentation, interesting games and quizzes related to the green economy were held. Then the participants were divided into teams of 6-7 people, where they presented their works, telling how human evolution affected the ecology. The invited companies told about their activities and distributed their prizes with the help of the game. And in the end, a discount was raffled off for studying at the AIU, which was most expected by schoolchildren. Mukhametkulova Tolgonai, Kyshtobayeva Emilia and Umida Tashbaeva won a 20% discount on tuition. At the end of the event, during a coffee break, the participants were able to get to know each other better.

The purpose of the event is to discuss common problems related to the green economy and sustainable development, which may be of interest for discussion at youth meetings. We express our gratitude to the organizers for an interesting contest!
